About The Granite House
From the beginning, the aim of The Granite House has been to supply high quality, granite, quartz and marble at affordable prices.
Tim Rotherham, the owner, began by importing granite and marble direct from source to supply to the building trade.
He spent time visiting quarries and stone shows around the world, building relationships with suppliers and learning all he could about the different types of natural stone available.
As the business grew, Tim began to look at cutting and fitting the stone himself. He brought in a previous colleague and together they started going out and installing granite and quartz worktops for domestic and commercial customers.
Demand rapidly increased and today, The Granite House has a team of highly skilled stoneworkers, who between them have over 75 year's experience of cutting and fitting granite, quartz and marble. Our workshop, in Bicester, Oxfordshire, combines traditional methods alongside modern machinery to ensure that every piece of work is finished to the highest standard.
Although the Company has changed, Tim's original idea remains the same.
